I am proud to be an Ole Hickory CTO owner. While my catering business died in the first throws of the pandemic, my smoker hasn’t been completely idle. Smoking home cured ham, bacon, pastrami and a few extras has helped me deal with so much home time as well as bringing smiles to family and a few friends. My kids and I have been pretty much in quarantine since the first week of March because my wife is a Respiratory therapist and has been treating nothing but Covid patients every day she works. Having tasty meals (and some experiment meals) helps a lot. This being said, you don’t need to look for hero’s in the community. You folks at Ole Hickory have done so much for so many. Your donations and support of OBR cannot be matched. Without your smokers, much of what they do would not be possible. So Thank You for all you folks do. You are some of the finest people in the BBQ community.
